We are supporting a world-leading Facilities Management company in the recruitment of an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a major static site in Glasgow. The Role
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day electrical maintenance and compliance across a large, high-profile site. You'll lead and support a team of engineers, ensuring planned and reactive works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This role suits someone who is hands-on, confident managing people, and enjoys taking ownership of electrical compliance, testing, and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising a multi-skilled engineering team on-site
- Leading electrical maintenance activities, testing and inspection, and LV work
- Overseeing PPMs, reactive repairs, and statutory compliance
- Ensuring safe systems of work, RAMS, and permit-to-work procedures are followed
- Providing technical guidance, coaching and support to engineers
- Managing workload allocation, scheduling, and reporting
- Developing strong working relationships with client stakeholders
- Supporting audits, compliance checks and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with quotes, planning and small project works
Skills & Experience
- Recognised electrical qualifications (18th Edition minimum)
- Test & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) highly desirable
- Strong LV electrical knowledge
- Previous supervisory or lead engineer experience
- Solid understanding of compliance, building services and H&S procedures
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
