FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Electrician to join a growing and reputable contractor operating across the Central Belt of Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and established team delivering electrical maintenance, upgrades, and compliance works across a varied residential property portfolio.
The Role
As a Domestic Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical works within occupied and void residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations. Duties will include:
- Electrical fault finding and repairs
- Consumer unit replacements and upgrades
- Electrical testing and inspection works
- EICRs and compliance testing
- Installation of lighting, sockets, switches, and accessories
- Reactive maintenance and planned works
- Completing certification and job documentation
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience working as a Domestic Electrician
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience carrying out testing and inspection works
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
