We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing HVAC company, covering the Central Belt of Scotland, operating primarily between Glasgow and Edinburgh. This is a mobile role, with door-to-door travel paid and personal use of a company van included. You’ll be carrying out commercial gas works only, with no domestic work involved. While there may be occasional travel across Scotland, the majority of work will remain within the Central Belt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive commercial gas maintenance and repairs
  • Work on commercial plant and systems across a range of sites
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with Gas Safe and H&S regulations
  • Complete job reports and certification accurately
  • Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts

Package & Benefits

  • Salary up to £48,000 depending on experience
  • Door-to-door travel paid
  • Company van with personal use
  • Overtime paid after 4:00pm
  • On-call rota 1 in 8, paid at £150 per week (additional call-out rates apply)
  • All work is commercial

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 / CODNCO1 / CIGA1 / ICPN1 / TPCP1A or equivalent)
  • Gas Safe registered
  • Proven experience in commercial gas environments
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to complete and pass a PVG check
  • Flexible and professional approach to mobile working

Location

Home-based, covering the Central Belt. Occasional travel throughout Scotland when required.
