An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial leader to take ownership of a nationwide Small Works business within one of the UK's leading construction and facilities management organisations. This is a high-profile leadership role with full responsibility for the commercial success, operational performance and strategic growth of a diverse Small Works portfolio.
We are particularly keen to speak with experienced Commercial Managers, Senior Commercial Managers, Estimating Managers and Contracts Managers who are looking to progress into a General Manager position. Working closely with senior leadership, you will drive financial performance, maximise profitability, oversee operational delivery and lead high-performing teams across multiple projects nationwide.
The Role As General Manager, you will:
- Lead the overall commercial and operational performance of the Small Works business.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, margin improvement and cash generation.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sustainable growth.
- Provide commercial leadership across a varied portfolio of projects.
- Ensure robust commercial governance, risk management and contractual compliance.
- Lead and develop Project Managers, Commercial teams.
