Domestic Gas Auditor\\n\\n📍 Location: Edinburgh\\n💼 Position: Domestic Gas Auditor\\n🕒 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent\\n\\nAbout the Role\\n\\nWe are seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Auditor to join a leading Facilities Management provider in Edinburgh. This is a critical role ensuring gas engineers and subcontractors deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality work across domestic housing and property contracts.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will have a strong domestic gas background, a sharp eye for compliance, and the ability to build effective working relationships with engineers, clients, and senior management.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Conduct audits of domestic gas works (installations, servicing, and repairs) to ensure compliance with Gas Safe and company standards.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Monitor and assess quality of workmanship, documentation, and safety practices.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Identify non-compliance issues and provide clear feedback, corrective actions, and follow-up checks.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support training and development of engineers to maintain high compliance levels.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Prepare accurate audit reports and present findings to management and clients.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Liaise with contract managers, supervisors, and clients to ensure statutory compliance and continuous improvement.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Assist in ensuring health & safety policies are fully implemented across all works.\\n\\nSkills & Experience Required\\n\\n * \\n\\n Extensive experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer, with strong knowledge of Gas Safe standards and UK regulations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Recognised domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1, Unvented G3).\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous experience in auditing, supervising, or quality control highly desirable.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong communication skills and ability to deliver constructive feedback.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent attention to detail with a compliance-first mindset.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Confident in report writing and record keeping.\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive salary + company benefits.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Full-time, permanent position based in Edinburgh with travel to sites as required.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Training and progression opportunities within a respected FM provider.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Opportunity to play a vital role in raising safety and compliance standards.\\n\\n📩 How to Apply\\nIf you are an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer or Auditor seeking your next challenge in Edinburgh, we’d love to hear from you.
