We are currently recruiting for an experienced Events Manager to join a leading FM business supporting operations for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major global sporting event and add a world-class project to your CV.

The Role

Working across multiple venues during the Games period, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of cleaning and event support operations within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day cleaning operations across event venues
  • Leading and supervising cleaning teams throughout the Games period
  • Managing staff rotas and ensuring adequate staffing levels across shifts
  • Liaising with stakeholders and venue management teams
  • Ensuring high standards are maintained across all venues during live events
  • Supporting operational planning and responding to any on-site issues efficiently

The role will form part of a dedicated events team, working closely alongside other Event Managers, a dedicated Project Manager, and with full support from an on-site Administrator. Due to the nature of the event, flexibility is essential, as the role will involve rotational early starts and late finishes throughout the Games period.
