We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee a high-profile portfolio in Edinburgh. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong operational oversight, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills. Experience within PPP / PFI / Hub / OFI environments would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for service delivery, financial performance, compliance, and client relationships across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of integrated Facilities Management services across the contract(s)
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, contractual, and health & safety requirements
- Manage financial performance, including P&L accountability, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Drive commercial performance, identifying efficiencies and opportunities for added value
- Act as the senior point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Lead, develop, and manage operational teams to ensure high performance
- Oversee supply chain performance and contract compliance
- Monitor KPIs and service levels, implementing improvements where required
- Manage risk and ensure governance standards are maintained
- Support contract mobilisation and lifecycle planning where applicable
- Proven experience as a Senior Facilities Manager or Facilities Manager within a complex environment
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and financial performance
- Experience operating within PPP / PFI / OFI or similar contractual frameworks (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of compliance, statutory obligations, and health & safety legislation
- Strong stakeholder and client management experience
- Ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams
- Confident decision-maker with the ability to operate at a senior level
