FMSS Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Regional Soft Services Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts across the East of Scotland.
This is a mobile role requiring regular travel between client sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cleaning teams, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery.
The Role
You will manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple cleaning contracts, acting as the main point of contact for clients and supporting site-based teams across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cleaning operations across multiple commercial sites.
- Lead, support and develop cleaning teams.
- Carry out site audits and quality inspections.
- Attend client meetings and maintain strong working relationships.
- Recruit, onboard and train new employees.
- Manage staff performance, attendance, rotas and day-to-day HR matters.
- Ensure contracts achieve agreed KPIs and service standards.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures.
- Produce reports, action plans and service updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
About You
You will ideally have
- Previous experience managing commercial cleaning or soft services contracts.
- Experience leading teams across multiple locations.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Experience with audits, onboarding and staff training.
- Good IT and reporting skills.
- A flexible and hands-on approach.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
