An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Services Engineer to join a growing and well-established FM / Building Services business covering sites across Edinburgh and Fife. This is a mobile role working across a range of commercial properties, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across building services systems.
The Role
Working across commercial sites, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services while ensuring compliance and excellent service delivery standards are maintained. This is a varied role suited to an all-round Building Services Engineer who is comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
- Fault finding and repairs across building services systems
- Working on commercial gas, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
- Supporting the wider engineering team across multiple sites
About You
We are looking for an experienced and reliable engineer with a strong building services background. Ideally, candidates will hold:
- Commercial Gas qualifications
- F-Gas certification
- 18th Edition
- Relevant Building Services or Engineering qualification
Experience within FM, commercial maintenance, or mobile engineering roles would be highly advantageous.
