Multi-Skilled Engineer (Commercial Gas & F-Gas)

Location: Based in Fife, covering the East of Scotland Salary: Up to £48,000 + Company Van + Excellent Benefits

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established Facilities Management company.

Based in Fife, you'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites throughout the East of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to join a growing business that genuinely invests in its people.

You'll receive an additional one hour's travel time paid per day, alongside a clear career progression pathway with the opportunity to progress into a Supervisory/Team Leader position in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial properties.

  • Service, maintain and repair commercial gas systems and associated mechanical plant.
  • Undertake maintenance and repairs on air conditioning and HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
  • Carry out statutory inspections and ensure all work complies with current legislation and company procedures.
  • Complete job sheets and compliance documentation accurately.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and build strong client relationships.
  • Participate in the on-call rota as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Commercial Gas qualifications (essential)
  • F-Gas certification (essential)
  • Previous experience working within Facilities Management or commercial building maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across commercial mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
