We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Electrician to join a high-performing engineering team supporting industrial and energy-sector facilities across the North East based from our clients site in Dundee. This is a role for someone who takes pride in safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical maintenance and who naturally leads by example on site. If you enjoy ownership, responsibility, and working in a structured industrial environment without being tied to an on-call rota, this could be an excellent next move.
The Opportunity
- You’ll take on electrical maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
- This role offers a balance of:
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Fault finding and reactive repairs
- Electrical installation and upgrade works
- Technical guidance and site support
You’ll also act as a key electrical point of contact within the engineering team, helping maintain standards and ensuring work is carried out correctly and safely.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Delivering high-quality electrical maintenance across industrial environments
- Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Supporting improvement and upgrade projects
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with electrical regulations and site safety standards
- Overseeing safe systems of work, isolations and permit processes
- Working collaboratively with mechanical and multi-skilled engineers
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
- Supporting service delivery across multiple North East sites
This is a mobile role across the region based from the Dundee site, but there is no on-call rota attached to this position.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Electrician (18th Edition essential)
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, energy or similar environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Confident working independently and within a team
- Good understanding of compliance-led maintenance
- Full UK driving licence
You’ll be someone who takes ownership, works safely, and delivers work to a consistently high standard.
