FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a large residential development in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a maintenance, FM, handyman, or building services background looking for a stable, long-term static site role within a modern residential environment.
Working as part of the on-site team, you will be responsible for ensuring the building and communal areas are maintained to a high standard while providing excellent service to residents and visitors.
The Role
- Carrying out general planned and reactive maintenance
- Basic plumbing, joinery, and fabric repairs
- Minor electrical maintenance and repairs
- Painting and decorating touch-ups
- Supporting contractors on site
- Carrying out site inspections and reporting defects
- Maintaining communal areas to a high standard
- Responding to maintenance requests from residents and management teams
