We are working in partnership with a leading Facilities Management provider to recruit an experienced FM Contracts Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial contracts across Scotland. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong HVAC or mechanical background, looking to take full ownership of multiple contracts, drive performance, and build strong client relationships.
The Role
- Full responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of multiple contracts
- Overseeing delivery of hard services, with a focus on mechanical and HVAC systems
- Managing and developing a team of engineers, supervisors, and site managers
- Ensuring all contracts meet and exceed KPIs, SLAs, and compliance standards
- Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong and lasting relationships
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L, ensuring financial targets are achieved
- Driving continuous improvement, identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
- Leading on additional works, variations, and contract growth opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and industry standards
About You
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager, FM Manager, or Senior Operations role within Facilities Management
- A strong technical background in HVAC, mechanical services, or building services engineering
- Experience managing multi-site commercial portfolios
- Solid understanding of hard FM service delivery and compliance
- Demonstrable experience managing financials, budgets, and P&L
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commercial mindset
