We are recruiting an experienced Approved Electrician / Working Supervisor to join a well-established facilities management and building services company. This is an excellent opportunity offering a genuine four-day working week. You will be contracted and paid for 40 hours while working 32 hours across four days. The position combines hands-on electrical work with the day-to-day supervision and support of electricians working across Glasgow and the wider Central Belt.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support electricians across multiple sites.
- Allocate work and ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
- Remain hands-on with electrical maintenance, installations and remedial works.
- Carry out electrical inspection, testing and fault-finding.
- Complete and review electrical certification and job documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and company procedures.
- Monitor workmanship, productivity and health and safety standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and the management team.
- Assist with job planning, technical queries and material requirements.
- Support apprentices and less-experienced electricians.
