FM Search & Select Ltd is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a national facilities management company, providing maintenance services across Ayrshire down to Scottish borders. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with expertise in servicing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial environments.

Package:

  • £38,000 - £41,000
  • Company vehicle & fuel card
  • On-call allowance
  • Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in split systems, VRV/VRF units, and air handling units.
  • Perform F-Gas compliance checks and refrigerant management.
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Assist with minor mechanical and electrical maintenance when required.
  • Work collaboratively with other FM engineers to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • F-Gas Category 1 (2079) qualification (essential)
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • 18th edition (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
