Our client is a leading SME Facilities Management provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance and engineering solutions across the Central Belt of Scotland. Due to contract win, FMSS are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to join their mobile team, covering key sites across the Central Belt of Scotland. The Role As a Commercial Plumber, you will be responsible for delivering reactive and planned maintenance services across a range of commercial properties. The role is mobile, requiring flexibility and the ability to manage your own workload effectively, while ensuring excellent customer service in fast-paced, high-volume trading environments. Key Responsibilities * Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and small works across multiple client sites. * Respond to reactive call-outs and ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively. * Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with service schedules. * Diagnose and repair faults on commercial plumbing systems, including hot and cold water systems. * Work closely with other trades and FM colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery. * Ensure all work is completed in line with H&S regulations and company procedures. * Maintain accurate records of works completed using the company’s CAFM system. Person Specification * Time-served plumber with SVQ/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). * Experience working in commercial buildings, ideally within high-volume trading environments (e.g. retail, leisure, hospitality). * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. * Full UK driving licence (essential). * Good communication and customer service skills. * Flexibility to travel across the Central Belt on a mobile basis.
