Maintenance Assistant Loanhead, Edinburgh (Mobile Role) Up to £33,000 + Company Van Are you a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Assistant looking for a new opportunity with variety, responsibility, and customer interaction? We\’re looking for a self-motivated individual to join a well-established FM company delivering maintenance support to clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. The Role This is a mobile, client-facing position where you\’ll be responsible for a range of general maintenance tasks at commercial and retail sites. No two days will be the same! Key duties include: * Carrying out minor plumbing, joinery, and basic fabric repairs * Responding to reactive maintenance requests * Supporting planned maintenance schedules * Representing the company professionally with clients and site contacts * Reporting issues and recording completed work via mobile app or tablet Requirements * Full UK driving licence (essential – this is a mobile role) * Previous experience in a maintenance, handyperson, or building services role * Strong customer service and communication skills * Ability to work independently and manage daily workload * Basic trade knowledge (plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.) What’s on Offer * Competitive salary up to £33,000 per annum * Company van + fuel card * Uniform, tools, and mobile device provided * Opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive team environment * Monday to Friday working hours (overtime occasionally available) If you\’re someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping facilities running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.
