What You Will Do
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Lead on fault finding, repairs, and minor project works.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliance requirements are met, with accurate records maintained.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to oversee specialist works.
- Support and mentor junior technicians, ensuring safe systems of work at all times.
- Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests to minimise downtime and disruption.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or Engineer, ideally in a lead/supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building services (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fabric maintenance).
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments highly desirable.
- Good understanding of compliance requirements (H&S, statutory checks, permits, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
