Handyperson – Mobile & Static Role Leek Staffordshire Up to £30,000 + Overtime | 3 Days Mobile / 2 Days Static | Occasional Weekends Looking for a role that offers variety, flexibility, and stability? We’re looking for an experienced Handyperson / Maintenance Operative to join a leading Facilities Management company supporting commercial clients across Staffordshire. This is a mixed role — spending 3 days per week travelling between client sites across Staffordshire, and 2 days based at a static site in the Leek area. You’ll be responsible for keeping buildings running smoothly, safe, and compliant. The Role * Carry out PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and reactive repairs across commercial and retail buildings * Perform basic plumbing, joinery, painting, decorating, and minor electrical works * Support building compliance checks, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting, and water hygiene tasks * Complete site inspections and report any issues to management * Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard * Occasional weekend cover may be required (rota basis, paid as overtime) What You’ll Bring * Proven experience in a Handyperson / Maintenance role within commercial or FM environments * Strong general maintenance skills (joinery, plumbing, painting, basic electrical) * Good understanding of health & safety practices * Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule * Full UK driving licence (essential) What’s On Offer * Salary up to £30,000 per annuam * Company van and fuel card for mobile work * A mixture of working during the week and weekend shifts * Career development and training within a growing FM business including the option to gain a FGAS qualifcation If you’re a practical, hands-on person who takes pride in your work and enjoys a mix of travel and site-based days — this could be your next move.
