Fire & Security Engineer – Edinburgh & East Scotland 💷 Up to £42,000 + Van + Benefits 📍 Based in Edinburgh – Covering the East The Role We’re recruiting an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company, responsible for the service, maintenance, and installation of fire and security systems across commercial sites in Edinburgh and the East of Scotland. This is a mobile role working across a range of client environments including offices, schools, healthcare, and retail properties — offering variety, stability, and excellent long-term career prospects. Responsibilities * Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems. * Carry out reactive repairs, system testing, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM). * Complete accurate job reports and compliance paperwork. * Ensure all work meets BS5839 and relevant fire/safety standards. * Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer (service and maintenance). * Understanding of relevant industry standards and safety procedures. * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to cover regional sites.
