Up to £48,000 | Door-to-Door Pay | No On-Call (Currently)
FM Search & Select are supporting a leading Facilities Management company who are looking to add an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable organisation with long-term retail and commercial contracts across Scotland.
The Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for service, maintenance, fault finding and minor installation works across a range of commercial heating and hot water systems. You will work on a mobile basis covering the Central Belt and wider Scotland, supporting retail and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintenance and repair of commercial gas boilers and heating systems
- Fault diagnosis and rectification across plant rooms and heating systems
- Minor installation works where required
- Supporting retail and commercial FM contracts
- Plumbing maintenance, repairs and general remedial works
- Completing accurate job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation
- Working independently while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service
- Ensuring all work meets Gas Safe regulations and FM contract performance standards
What We\’re Looking For
- Commercial Gas Qualified (COCN1 / CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A etc.)
- Strong experience maintaining and servicing commercial plant and FM contract environments
- Good general plumbing experience
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites
- FGas/AC experience is highly advantageous but not essential
