Commercial Gas Engineer π Dumfries & Galloway | Full-Time | Servicing & Maintenance About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management provider for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team, covering the Dumfries & Galloway region. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial sites, ensuring compliance, safety, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Deliver PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive servicing on commercial gas appliances and heating systems. * Diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently across boilers, burners, and plant room equipment. * Carry out statutory testing, inspections, and certification in line with Gas Safe regulations. * Support facilities management contracts by ensuring all compliance, safety, and performance targets are met. * Work closely with clients, helpdesk teams, and other engineers to deliver excellent service. * Complete accurate job sheets, service reports, and maintain documentation. * Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support as required. Skills & Experience * Previous experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer within the FM or building services sector. * Strong technical knowledge of commercial heating systems, boilers, and plant equipment. * Ability to work independently across multi-site contracts. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Flexible and reliable with a proactive, problem-solving approach. Qualifications & Certifications * ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (e.g. COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A). * Gas Safe Registered. * Domestic Gas and LPG certification desirable. * Full UK Driving Licence (essential). * CSCS / H&S training advantageous.
