Electrical Building Services Design Engineer – Glasgow Are you ready to take your building services career to the next level? We’re working with a leading engineering specialist who deliver complex, high-tech facilities for cutting-edge sectors. Their integrated approach spans design, construction, and maintenance, meaning you’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of innovative, challenging projects. The Role As an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer, you’ll: * Design electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, structured cabling, and security systems. * Develop detailed plans, calculations, and specifications with support from senior engineers. * Produce drawings, diagrams, and schedules to support project delivery. * Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and efficiency. * Manage the electrical elements of projects from concept through to commissioning. What We’re Looking For * Degree in Building Services Engineering (or related). * 5+ years’ experience in electrical building services design. * Proficiency with design software (Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Excel). * Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar 2D/3D platforms. * Strong technical knowledge of electrical design principles and compliance standards. * A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and excellent communication skills. * Full UK driving licence.
