Air Conditioning Engineer 📍 Aberdeen | 💼 Facilities Management | 🕒 Full-Time | ⚙️ Maintenance Contracts About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Clients FM team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of FM contracts, ensuring compliance, reliability, and client satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team with long-term contract stability. Key Responsibilities * Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems across commercial and public sector sites. * Diagnose and repair faults on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and AHUs. * Conduct compliance checks in line with F-Gas and Health & Safety regulations. * Work closely with helpdesk teams, clients, and other engineers to ensure timely completion of works. * Complete detailed service reports, job sheets, and maintain accurate documentation. * Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support when required. * Deliver a professional, customer-focused service to all FM clients. Skills & Experience * Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer within the FM sector. * Strong technical knowledge of VRV/VRF systems, chillers, split systems, and AHUs. * Ability to diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs. * Familiar with SFG20 standards and FM maintenance schedules. * Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. * Flexible and reliable, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Qualifications & Certifications * F-Gas Category 1 (essential). * City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent). * Full UK Driving Licence. * Additional FM compliance training (e.g. CSCS, IPAF, PASMA) is desirable.
