FM Search & Select Ltd are working with a growing and well-established air conditioning specialist based in the Central Belt of Scotland, delivering installation, service, and maintenance solutions across a wide range of commercial and retail environments. Due to increased demand and a strong project pipeline, they are now seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join their team. Role Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a variety of air conditioning systems at commercial client sites. This is a mobile role requiring a proactive, customer-focused individual with a strong technical background in HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service on air conditioning systems * Diagnose and repair faults on equipment including VRV/VRF, split systems, ducted, and cassette units * Ensure all work is completed in line with F-Gas regulations and company safety policies * Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation accurately * Liaise with clients and site managers to provide clear updates and ensure high levels of service * Travel to commercial and retail sites across the region as required Requirements * Proven experience as an Air Conditioning or HVAC Engineer in the commercial sector * Strong knowledge of AC systems including VRF, VRV, splits, and cassettes * F-Gas Category 1 qualified (essential) * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent) * Good understanding of health & safety and site protocols * Full UK driving licence * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills What’s on Offer * Competitive salary based on experience * Paid overtime and travel time * Company van, fuel card, tools, and uniform * Ongoing training and support * Long-term career development in a growing business πŸ“© To apply or find out more, please contact FM Search & Select for a confidential discussion
