FM Conway is seeking skilled Class 2 Tanker Drivers to join our dedicated Water and Drainage Management team. In this vital role, you will help protect communities and keep essential infrastructure running smoothly. Working independently, you will be at the front line of drainage operations, carrying out flood management duties, driving a Class 2 Liquid Waste Tanker. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will be working a mixture of days and nights.
The duties of the Class 2 Tanker Driver role will include:
- Operating a Class 2 liquid waste tanker as part of front-line water and drainage operations, safely transporting and handling liquid waste in line with company procedures and legislation.
- Delivering essential flood management and drainage response services, working independently on site to protect communities and critical infrastructure.
- Accurately recording and reporting all work carried out, including identifying and flagging any additional issues that require follow-up.
- Using our app-based reporting system to update job progress, upload photos/videos, and ensure clear communication with the wider team.
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for reliable, committed individuals who hold a Class 2 licence and a valid Driver CPC. You will enjoy working independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety. While previous experience in the drainage industry is preferred, it is not essential; full training can be provided for the right candidate.
