FM Conway is currently seeking a Transport Compliance Manager to join our Transport Division. As our Transport Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring full compliance with all road transport legislation, driver regulations and company standards across our Eastern and Northwest Operator Licences. This is a permanent, full-time position, covering East and Norwest. Due to the large geographical area, overnight stays will be required.
The duties of the Transport Compliance Manager role will include:
-Managing compliance with EU driver and vehicle tachograph regulations, driver domestic hours regulations and Working Time Regulations
-Producing monthly compliance reports for the Senior Transport Manager
-Conducting regular vehicle gate checks and depot visits to oversee vehicle defect reporting
-Managing drivers\' CPC compliance and delivering driver inductions for external hauliers
-Overseeing compliance for conveyance tickets, PCNs, and vehicle cleanliness and condition
-Supporting the delivery of driver toolbox talks and investigating vehicle damage
-Assisting in achieving and maintaining FORS and BSI 39001 compliance
-Administering the Dart-tag account and vehicle tracking system to improve fuel efficiency and vehicle utilisation
-Maintaining the Professional Drivers Recognition Scheme and supporting drivers where required
Our ideal candidate will have experience managing compliance for a large fleet of vehicles in a transport related environment. You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure. A CPC in Road Transport Management is essential, along with a full UK driving licence as travel will be required. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and a good knowledge of UK driving legislation are also required.
