Are you passionate about making a difference in communities and helping businesses drive social impact? FM Conway is looking for a Social Value Coordinator to join our team! In this dynamic role, you\’ll play a key part in planning, delivering, and reporting on meaningful social value initiatives across our projects. You\’ll collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and local communities to ensure our efforts are impactful, measurable, and aligned with industry standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of work that truly matters. The role is full-time, permanent, based at our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The duties of our Social Value Coordinator will include:
-Coordinating and implementing social value plans to support FM Conway\’s contractual commitments
– Monitoring and evaluating the impact of social value activities using recognised frameworks
– Preparing regular progress reports and contributing to social impact assessments and project tenders
– Managing and assessing data collection across the business to support with social value commitments
-Developing and maintaining strong relationships with community groups, charitable organisations, education providers, and local authorities
– Organising and attending engagement activities such as volunteering days, career workshops, and local outreach programs
– Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to increase social impact and efficiency
What skills and experience do you need?
We\’re looking for a driven and organised individual with strong analytic skills who is confident working with data, setting and reviewing KPIs, and using KPI dashboards to monitor performance. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent project management abilities, and a strategic mindset is also required. To thrive in this role, you\’ll need to be a self-starter who can manage your own workload, build strong professional relationships across all levels, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong planning and prioritisation skills are also essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required, and a qualification in Social Value is highly desirable. Previous experience in the construction industry and a degree-level qualification would also be an advantage.
