FM Conway is currently looking to recruit a Reliability and Calibrations Engineer to join our Aggregates and Asphalt division. You will play a key role in improving plant reliability, uptime and compliance. This is a permanent, full time position where you will be required to work remotely covering our Asphalt Plants in Erith, Heathrow, Reading, Theale, Aldershot, Croydon and Newhaven.
The duties of the Reliability and Calibrations Engineer role will include:
- Supporting the safe execution of maintenance tasks including inspections, preventive, predictive and reactive work
- Carrying out compliance checks, inspection regimes and calibrations of weights, levels, pressures and temperatures of instrumentation
- Completing condition based monitoring, vibration analysis and reporting findings with clear recommendations
- Undertaking installation, fault-finding and repair tasks for both electrical and mechanical systems
- Contributing to the development and operation of a digital CMMS and reliability systems
- Assisting in engineering projects from feasibility through to commissioning and handover
- Leading by example on health and safety, including risk assessments, isolations, and LOTOTO procedures
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for our Reliability and Calibrations Engineer role, you will have experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within process plant environments, with knowledge of conveyors, pumps, motors, pneumatics and hydraulics. You should be confident with safe isolation, LOTOTO procedures, compliance checks and condition monitoring. A Level 3 engineering qualification is essential. A full UK driver’s licence is also required.
