Working as part of a two-person crew, you’ll be at the front line of drainage operations, from drain cleaning and clearance to repair and maintenance work. Using specialised vehicles and equipment, you'll help ensure that water flows freely through drainage systems, helping to prevent flooding, minimise disruption, and support a healthier environment. This is a full-time, permanent role, based in Croydon, Greater London.

The duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver role will include:

  • Carrying out a wide range of drainage services, including high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) to inspect, clean, and maintain drainage networks.
  • Responding promptly to drainage issues and emergency callouts, tackling blockages, overflows, and other urgent problems to keep water flowing safely and efficiently.
  • Supporting planned and reactive maintenance by clearing, cleaning, and repairing drainage systems as part of routine operations or urgent interventions.
  • Using our app-based reporting system to update job progress, upload photos/videos, and ensure clear communication with the wider team.

We’re looking for reliable, committed individuals who hold a Class 2 licence and a valid Driver CPC. While previous experience in the drainage industry is preferred, it’s not essential - full training can be provided for the right candidate.
