Overview
FM Conway is looking to recruit a Night Weighbridge Operative to join the Aggregate and Asphalt. As our Weighbridge Operative you will assist with the programming, transport allocation and mixing schedule to ensure maximisation of all company resources and requirements. This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday- Friday, 4:30pm-2:30am at our Heathrow depot.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with lorry drivers to advise them of their individual workload and schedule
- Ensuring that all vehicles leaving the site are of the correct weight and have the appropriate documents
- Maintaining stock to an optimum level to fulfil daily requirements
- Ensuring all necessary weighbridge records are maintained to company standards
- Liaising with the service coordinator to ensure all customer needs are met
- Receiving and recording goods in daily
- Recording all return loads on the system
- Complying with company health, safety and environmental policy, highlighting any issues appropriately
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for candidates who have experience of working on a weighbridge and hold a full UK driving license. To be considered for this role it is essential that you are a team player, with good verbal and written communication skills.
