FM Conway is currently recruiting for a professional and motivated Service Advisor to work within our Workshop division. As our Service Advisor, you will oversee both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring all legislative, statutory, and operator license requirements are fully met and adhered to, while minimising vehicle downtime as much as possible. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Dartford, Kent.

The duties of our Service Advisor will include:

  • Acting as a principal point of contact for enquiries regarding transport and fleet maintenance queries
  • Liaising with third party workshops and leasing companies on booking requirements and ensuring that associated paperwork is received and is correct
  • Utilising the booking management system to notify operational teams on booking dates
  • Checking the fleet tracking system, Samsara, and liaising with the fleet operational teams to ensure that vehicles are presented to the respective workshops at the allocated booking
  • Raising and closing job cards within Freeway, ensuring all required and relevant documentation and backup information has been uploaded within the job card
  • Dealing with enquiries and booking in vehicles at the service counter in workshop reception, listing any known driver's defects and communicating to the workshop

We are looking for a professional and confident candidate, who has experience of communicating with a variety of people via telephone, email, and face to face. It is essential that the successful applicant has previous experience in a service advisor role, or similar position.
