FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Supervisor to join our team on the prestigious Westminster Contract. You will play a key role in ensuring the work stream is managed to a high standard. You will be leading and managing a team of Operatives and Team Leaders whilst supporting the Contracts Manager by reviewing workloads and allocation of resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in budget. This is a permanent, full-time position based in London.

The duties of the Supervisor role will include:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of works through regular liaising with the client, employees and subcontracts
  • Writing specific programmes of work and updating when required
  • Raising technical queries and ensuring their resolution and communicating all relevant information is shared with the team
  • Ordering plant and materials to support the programme of works
  • Ensuring that the highest level of health and safety is always maintained

What skills and experience do you need?

You will be a dedicated and motivated Supervisor with previous experience in the highways or construction industry. You will have excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. To be considered for the role you will ideally have experience in NEC, JCT or ICE contracts and you will hold a CSCS card and SSSTS. This role will involve travel to other FM Conway and customer locations therefore, you must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
