FM Conway is looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our Traffic Management division based from our Chelsfield depot. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, working a mixture of day and night shifts. As our Traffic Management Operative, you will work as part of a team to carry out a range of services including setting up temporary traffic lights, installing, maintaining and removing traffic management. Opportunities for overtime and night work will also be regularly available at an industry leading rate.
The duties of the Traffic Management Operative role will include:
- Setting up temporary traffic lights as required
- Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights, ensuring public are abiding by lights
- Working closely with management and crews and taking instructions from the management team
- To be available on a rota basis for out-of-hours on-call duty if needed
To be considered for this role you will have knowledge of traffic management operations, hold a valid CSCS card and a traffic management Lantra ticket. You must also be able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings and be aware and comply with the provided RAMS.
