FM Conway is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Aggregates and Asphalt division. You will play a key role in ensuring all required maintenance duties are carried out efficiently, including preventative maintenance, attending to breakdowns, and executing mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding and maintaining high housekeeping standards. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Heathrow Asphalt Plant.
The duties of the Maintenance Supervisor will include:
- Ensuring that all aspects of the Asphalt and Mobile Plant maintenance are carried out in accordance with the requirements of all statutory legislation and the FM Conway Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies
- Operating producing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements, permits to work and procedures for maintenance tasks
- Ensuring that all plant and equipment is subject to planned preventative maintenance scheme and inspection
- Keeping the site in a safe worthy condition, in order to work safely, optimise plant availability and efficiency within operational budgets
- Operating in a collaborative manner with all operations personnel as required and encourage continuous improvement
- Travelling to and supporting other sites with maintenance in the event of breakdowns and or planned maintenance shutdowns
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Maintenance Supervisor and have experience in Mechanical repair skills. Also, burning, welding and fabrication skills will be needed.
