Working both independently and as part of a two‑person crew, you will operate a range of specialist vehicles and equipment to deliver essential drainage maintenance, emergency response and liquid waste management services. This is a full‑time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 liquid waste tanker as part of front‑line water and drainage operations, safely transporting and handling liquid waste in line with company procedures and legislation.
- Carry out a wide range of drainage services, including high‑pressure water jetting (HPWJ) to inspect, clean and maintain drainage networks.
- Deliver essential flood management and drainage response services, helping to protect communities and critical infrastructure.
- Support planned and reactive maintenance by clearing, cleaning and maintaining drainage systems.
- Work within confined spaces when required, following all safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Accurately record and report all work carried out, identifying and flagging any additional issues requiring follow‑up.
- Use the app‑based reporting system to update job progress, upload photos and videos, and maintain clear communication with the wider team.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company health, safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Confined Space Entry certification.
- High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) certification.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience within the drainage, utilities, water, highways or environmental services sectors is highly advantageous; additional training can be provided for the right candidate.
