CAT C DRIVERS (HGV 2) in Chelmsford, Essex

They play an important role in delivering the specialist drainage services that communities, businesses and the environment rely on every day. We are looking for an HGV Driver to join our growing Water and Drainage Management team, working within our specialist Lining division. Alongside driving and operating our specialist vehicles, you'll work as part of an experienced team carrying out drainage rehabilitation and no-dig repairs across the region. You'll combine your HGV driving experience with practical site-based work, learning specialist drainage techniques and developing skills within an essential and growing industry. This is a full-time, permanent position based from our Rayleigh Depot with work carried out across the surrounding region. Some overnight stays will be required, for which you will be compensated. As our HGV Driver within the Lining team , you will: Drive and operate specialist HGV vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently Transport specialist equipment, materials and colleagues to sites across the region Work alongside the Lining team to carry out drainage rehabilitation and repair works Assist with full-length lining, patch repairs and other innovative no-dig drainage solutions Support drainage investigations and CCTV surveys where required Work safely on site and within confined spaces, following all relevant health and safety procedures Work collaboratively with your team to deliver a safe, efficient and high-quality service to our customers We're looking for an experienced HGV Driver who is happy to get out of the cab and work as part of our specialist Lining team. This is a hands-on role, so you'll need to be comfortable supporting drainage works on site alongside your driving responsibilities. A valid HGV Class 2 or Class 1 licence A valid CSCS Card Please note, this isn't solely a driving position. You'll be an active member of our Lining team and will be expected to support drainage works on site.
