FM Conway are seeking a Cargo Bike Rider Operative to join our Asset Management team within our Structures division. This unique role combines hands-on construction work with sustainable transport, you'll be supporting a variety of projects on site, while also delivering materials using our innovative FM Conway Cargo Bikes. As part of the team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and with care for the environment.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out all works with care and with attention to safety, using the appropriate tools, safeguards and PPE.
- Following procedures set out in task specific RAMS and to ensure that all others involved in the task do so as well.
- Ensuring that all materials are used correctly, and that waste is minimised by good housekeeping employing the briefed work methodology.
- Reporting any incidents, accidents or points of concern to your line manager or the Site Management without delay.
- Working as part of a team on site as required and take instructions from the site management team.
Requirements
- To be considered for the Cargo Bike Rider Operative role, you must be confident riding a bicycle, as well as previous experience within highways construction.
- A solid understanding of Health and Safety procedures, a CSCS card, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and strong communication skills are also essential.
- It would be an advantage if you have good knowledge of the routes around London.
