FM Conway is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic Structures division. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major structural refurbishment project. As our Assistant Project Manager, you will support the site team while coordinating all ground investigation, stabilisation works and highways civil improvements. This is a permanent full-time position, based in London.
The duties of the Assistant Project Manager role will include:
- Supporting with sub-contractor site management
- Working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts Manager ensuring that the project is set up correctly with appropriate resources allocated for the works
- Pro-actively manage any changes in project scope
- Managing sub-contractors performance and technical capabilities
- Preparing or assisting in the production of the contract programme
- Ensuring that works are set up and maintained in accordance with the Structure Works Package Plan
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager with previous structures, engineering or highway infrastructure experience. You will ideally have knowledge of steel fabrications, and a background in engineering works. The successful candidate must hold a CSCS and SMSTS card and a full UK driving licence.
