FM Conway are searching for an enthusiasticWharf Operativeto join us at our Erith Wharf. Working a mixture of day and night shifts, you will join us on a permanent basis.

The duties of the Wharf Operative role will include:

– Reporting, plant & site maintenance to be carried out prior to vessel berthing and departure

– Maintaining high standards of Housekeeping

– Boarding vessel upon arrival, to act as FMC shipping agency upon request

– Working from height & above water to safely be able to board each vessel is critical for this task

– Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance to the site and ship to shore system

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work within a small team. Having Good Knowledge of Heavy Plant including hydraulic systems and Knowledge of cranes, working at height with vessels and conveyor systems would be beneficial.
