FM Conway is recruiting for a Sustainability Analyst to play a key role in driving our Net Zero Strategy and advancing our wider sustainability agenda for both the business and our customers. Working closely with the Sustainability Director and Carbon Manager, this role will collaborate across our operational divisions to deliver high-quality carbon and sustainability reporting, provide insightful data analysis, and support key environmental initiatives. This is a permanent, full time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The duties of the Sustainability Analyst role will include:

-Supporting the delivery of FM Conway’s Net Zero Strategy and the decarbonisation agendas of our customers, ensuring alignment with standards such as PAS 2080, ISO 14090, and ISO 50001

-Preparing accurate carbon reports for customers and the business, aligning with recognised frameworks including the GHG Protocol, PAS 2080, SECR, and TCFD, and contributing to the annual Carbon Reduction Plan

-Managing and developing the Scope 3 materials database to enable data-driven decision-making on material usage for FM Conway and its customers

-Collaborating across operational divisions to produce performance reports, supporting carbon reduction initiatives, and conducting ad-hoc analysis to assess carbon and cost impacts

-Enhancing carbon reporting processes through advanced Excel techniques and other analytical tools

-Developing and delivering internal communications to engage employees in sustainability and Net Zero initiatives, and representing the company at client and community events

What skills and experience do you need?

We’re seeking a Sustainability Analyst with advanced Excel skills, strong carbon reporting knowledge, and a passion for Net Zero. You’ll be confident managing sustainability data, producing clear reports, and engaging with stakeholders, with the drive to make a real impact. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. You will hold a degree in science or engineering, preferably at master’s level, and have completed an internship or gained experience in a sustainability or construction environment.
