FM Conway is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join our fast-growing Aggregates and Asphalt Division. As our Account Manager, you will help drive sales revenue growth while nurturing customer relationships for the Aggregates and Asphalt division. This is a full-time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The duties of the Account Manager role will include:
- Pricing and providing quotations for the collection of asphalt to external customers within agreed commercial parameters.
- Proactively developing and growing relationships with an existing portfolio of customers, increasing wallet share and identifying new opportunities.
- Seeking out new customers and broadening the customer base at each Conway Collect plant.
- Managing an agreed list of customer accounts from initial quotation to invoice payment, working alongside the credit control team ensuring that our credit terms are always adhered to and dealing with any invoice queries in a timely manner.
- Working collaboratively and closely with the rest of the commercial team, including other account managers, customer service advisors and supervisors.
- Managing and responding to customer enquiries from the general market, not just the assigned customer accounts.
- Responding to, managing and resolving any customer complaints or invoice queries promptly.
- Reporting of weekly market feedback, won/lost information and monthly sales forecasting.
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for the Account Manager role you must have previous sales experience ideally from either an aggregates or construction background. You will have a strong customer focus and be commercially aware. This role will involve travel to other FM Conway and customer locations, therefore the successful applicant must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
