  • Drainage Operatives to join our growing Water and Drainage Management team, working on our

Wastewater Treatment contract .

Working alongside experienced HGV Drivers as part of a supportive team, you'll learn specialist skills, work with industry-leading equipment and support essential planned and reactive wastewater operations.

You'll work across a variety of environments, including wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and wastewater networks , supporting the maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure.

No two days are the same.

Whether you're supporting high-pressure water jetting, carrying out drainage cleaning, assisting with tankering and over-pumping operations or responding to urgent wastewater incidents, you'll finish each shift knowing your work has made a genuine difference.

As one of our Drainage Operatives, you will

  • Support HGV Drainage Engineers with drainage maintenance and repair work.
  • Assist with High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) and CCTV drainage surveys.
  • Carry out drainage cleaning, investigations and planned maintenance.
  • Respond to emergency and reactive drainage callouts.
  • Operate our GIS Trimble system in line with company procedures.
  • Work safely as part of a close-knit team using specialist vehicles and equipment.

You'll ideally have

We're looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, takes pride in delivering a great service and thrives as part of a close-knit team. You'll hold a full UK driving licence , with a strong commitment to health and safety and a positive, reliable attitude.

Previous drainage experience is beneficial but isn't essential, and experience in High Pressure Water Jetting, Street Works or Confined Space working would be advantageous.

HGV Apprenticeship Programme after successfully passing your probation.
