FM Conway is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead various structural refurbishment projects in London. This permanent, full-time position is based from our offices in Paddington, London.
Responsibilities
- Collate, distribute and coordinate the handover of pre/tender information to the construction team.
- Provide up-to-date budget and programming information at all project key stages.
- Manage, coordinate, review and ensure buildability of designs.
- Ensure that projects are set up correctly with the appropriate resources allocated for works (plant, labour, materials, subcontractors) and that works are maintained in accordance with the Structures Works package.
- Manage and coordinate with the project team to ensure all relevant road space applications, permits and approvals are in place and maintained throughout the works duration.
- Review and ensure compliance with subcontractor pre‑start meetings, minutes and documentation prior to commencement on site.
- Draft, coordinate and review subcontract contract documents with the project Quantity Surveyor and internal commercial/contract team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven expertise in structural engineering, bridge refurbishments and highways projects.
- Exceptional skills in resource planning, cost and value management, stakeholder engagement, and design management.
- Strong background in NEC/JCT contracts, client‑facing experience.
- Degree‑level qualification or equivalent (NVQ Level 6, HNC, HND in a construction‑related field).
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Willingness to travel between FM Conway locations.
