FM Conway is recruiting for a Mobile Asphalt Plant Technician to join our dynamic Aggregate and Asphalt division. As our Mobile Asphalt Plant Technician, you will play a key part in maintaining the highest standards of product quality, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and top-tier materials. This is a full-time, permanent position based on site.

The Duties of the Mobile Asphalt Plant Technician will include:

  • Carrying out the inspection, sampling, and testing of asphalt to ensure consistent quality standards
  • Developing knowledge and competence in both asphalt testing procedures and the operation of Lastrada systems
  • Ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001 and FPC quality standards
  • Undertaking additional duties and ad hoc projects as required to support business needs
  • Adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment
  • Maintaining the highest standards across all activities to enable accurate, reliable reporting for internal and external clients
  • Recording and retaining all test results, observations, and relevant remarks

What skills and experience do you need?

As a Mobile Asphalt Plant Technician, we are seeking candidates with previous experience in aggregate and asphalt testing. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and hold a full UK driving licence. Strong IT and administrative abilities are essential, along with a flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
