FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Sub Agent to join our successful Structures Team. As our Sub Agent you will ensure that the site documentation and site activities are received, prepared and set up correctly in accordance with the structures work package plan, this will include method statements, risk assessments and temporary work procedures. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sevenoaks, Kent, working on various projects in South London.
The duties of the Sub Agent role will include:
- Mobilisation of the site works and ensuring that all resources are available
- Implementing all planned works including dissemination of safe systems of work which will include site inductions, daily briefings, task assignments, risk reviews and toolbox talks
- Coordinating the hire of all plant equipment needed for the delivery of the works and coordinating all material orders
- Managing the site diary and keeping a record of site activity and processes including work activity details, site personnel, plant and equipment
- Ensuring all permits, permanent and temporary works are delivering in accordance with the project details, drawings and specifications
- Recording changes in project scope or unexpected site conditions along with record of all resources associated with the change
- Ensuring that all Operatives, plant operators and subcontractors are adequately/appropriately trained and properly instructed in the work they are required to undertake including the identification of future training requirements.
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for candidates with previous highway infrastructure and rail experience. You will have experience as a slinger signaller and excellent knowledge of coordinating small packages of works. You will be confident in understanding construction processes and health and safety compliance. You will hold a CSCS gold, black or white card. Travel to other company locations will be required therefore, you must hold a full UK driving license.
