FM Conway is looking for an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join our Plant and Workshop Division. This full‑time, permanent position is based in Dartford, Kent. The role involves maintaining our fleet of small plant equipment, carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, inspecting plant items to ensure they are ready for rehire, and providing high‑quality equipment to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Complete paperwork following any maintenance activities.
- Carry out inspections on plant items, ensuring they are ready for rehire and that quality items are consistently provided to our customers.
- Work safely and compliantly with risk assessments and method statements, challenging any unsafe practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar Small Tools Fitter role.
- Strong understanding of workshop responsibilities and a commitment to safe systems of work.
- Full UK driving licence and ownership of personal tools.
- IT literate with excellent knowledge of various items of plant and small tools.
