FM Conway is currently seeking a Volumetric Mixer Driver to join our Transport Division. As our Volumetric Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for delivering high quality concrete to our customers, operating volumetric concrete mixers safely and efficiently, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard. This is a permanent, full‑time position working Monday to Friday 06:00‑16:00, based from our Dartford depot.

Responsibilities

  • Driving and operating a Class 2 HGV volumetric concrete mixer to and from site
  • Transporting and delivering concrete to customers in a safe and professional manner
  • Following instructions and job allocations from your supervisor
  • Maintaining vehicles and equipment in line with company standards
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and defect sheets accurately
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and safety procedures

Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience operating a volumetric concrete mixer. You should hold a full UK driving licence, an HGV Class 2 licence, a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and a completed Urban Cycle Awareness Course.
