An exciting opportunity has arisen to join FM Conway’s Security division as a Security Marshal. As our Security Marshal you will ensure the safety and security of our Dartford depot premises, our assets, staff, and visitors. This is a part time position based from our depot in Dartford, Kent, working weekends only. The hours will be 5:30am - 17:30pm.
The duties of the Security Marshal role will include:
- Inspecting and patrolling the premise and reporting any irregularities
- Monitoring the CCTV cameras and reporting suspicious behaviour
- Monitoring and checking ID and ensuring the security of all personnel and visitors
- Communicating with police, fire service and emergency medical personnel if required
- Responding to alarms, investigating suspicious behaviour, incidents and security breaches
- Recording all incidents and relaying information to colleagues at handover
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a Security Marshal who has experience in the construction industry. You will have a good level of CCTV surveillance, you will be highly observant and able to objectively assess the severity of a situation. You will have the ability to remain calm and decisive in any situation and be able to communicate effectively and precisely.
