FM Conway has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our Water and Drainage Management division. As our Contracts Manager, you will be managing the works programme, client relationship and team performance for a number of contracts within the Kings Langley and Heathrow areas. This is a full-time, permanent position based from our Kings Langley depot.
Responsibilities
- Managing and resourcing the works programme, working within the constraints and specification of the contracts
- Building effective and professional working relationships with clients
- Managing the teams at both depots, dealing effectively with performance or personnel issues
- To oversee financial management, planning, systems and controls of specified contracts
- Always promoting, and managing safe working processes, including carrying out safety audits in accordance with pre-determined targets
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the highways, drainage or utilities industry
- Confident communicator with strong client relationship management skills
- Team management experience
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- A full UK driving license is essential
